NWCOA Structural Bat Management

Building on the knowledge gained in the prerequisite NWCOA Bat Standards Certified course, this course continues to cover the practical side of bat work including inspections, exclusion, clean-outs and decontamination protocol, but also delves deeper into safety, contracts, sales, pricing and liabilities.

This two-day course provides classroom training on day 1, then on day two the classroom training is put into action as attendees learn about working at heights, scaffolding and ladders. Practical demonstrations and hands-on applications on metal bending, ridge and roof exhaust vent repairs, chimney repairs and gable vents will also be conducted. When you finish this training, you will be set to expand your business to include professional bat management services.

Upon successful completion of this course and a test, the WCO will receive a certificate of completion, use of the logo mark in marketing materials and become a NWCOA Bat Standards Certified, Part II Professional.
