State Policy Affairs Representative (S.P.A.R.), Joe Wilson

The NPMA State Policy Affairs Representative is the key liaison responsible for coordinating issues between associations. For more information on the SPAR program or for state policy questions contact the NPMA Public Policy team.

Started with Orkin (Rollins) in 1965 and purchased PermaTreat Pest Control in 1982. Merged with Rollins in 2014 and celebrated 50 years in the pest control business in June of 2015. Served 23 years on the Virginia Pesticide Control Board…appointed and re-appointed by six Governors. In 1987, was named Virginia Small Business Person of the year by the Small Business Administration. Served as President of the Virginia Pest Control Association and also served on the NPMA BOD. Served on NPMA's Government Affairs Committee six years. Past Chairman of the Board Mary Washington Healthcare…largest employer in the Fredericksburg area. Joe was inducted into the first PCT first Hall of Fame class in early 1980's.
