Past Presidents Policy

Approved by the Board of Directors October 25, 2013

Whereas the past presidents of the National Pest Management Association have served the industry with distinction and honor, and

Whereas, the past presidents of the National Pest Management Association possess knowledge, skills, and insights that are invaluable to the governance of the association,

Be it resolved by the National Pest Management Association Board of Directors on the 25th day of October, 2013, and in accordance with the revised bylaws adopted this day that the past presidents shall be designated as Senior Advisors to the Board of Directors and as such, shall be granted the following privileges:

  1. The past presidents shall receive copies of routine correspondence form staff to the Board of Directors;
  2. The past presidents shall be included in routine teleconferences of the Board of Directors;
  3. The past presidents, as Senior Advisors, shall be permitted to participate and be readily recognized in meetings of the Board of Directors; and
  4. The Executive Vice President of the Association shall convene a briefing and/or a luncheon or similar event not less than once a year at the annual meeting of the association for past presidents.
